Create a play list for slide shows
To create a .LST play list file that contains the filenames of all presentations in the slide show in the order of appearance:
1) Open 'Notepad':
a) Choose the Windows 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
b) Select 'Programs' from the Windows 'Start' menu. (A submenu appears.)
c) Select 'Accessories'. (A submenu appears.)
d) Select 'Notepad'. (Notepad opens.)
2) Enter the path and filename of the first presentation to display in the slide show.
3) Press ENTER.
4) Enter the path and filename of the next presentation to include in the slide show.
5) Repeat steps 3) and 4) for any additional presentation files that should be in the slide show.
6) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Save'. (The Save As dialog box appears.)
7) Enter the play list filename, with a .LST extension, in the 'File name' box.
EXAMPLE: Enter the following filename for a play list called 'MYSHOW':
MYSHOW.LST
8) Select the desired directory in which to save the file from the 'Save in' list box.
9) Choose the 'Save' button. (The play list is created and can now be run from the PowerPoint Viewer.)
